SquareEnix could make a game that actually allow us to play the game like wuwa, hsr instead of spending more time on tedious UI and grinding. I never regret quitting this game and still come back to see if there’s hope but what I get is only more disappointment. Applaud to octo who still can keep this going

Champions belt will give most people approx 10% patk matk 6%hp at full overboost by hitting the 10mil point tier on all challenges. but they future proofed it with higher score tiers after 10 mil there’s also 30 mil 50 mil 77.77 mil. I mathed the total will be 11% patk 11% matk 7% hp when/if you hit all the score tiers.

For what its worth, those shop prices match what I have here in the USA. The NY 2025 draw ticket (cloud costume) is super scummy IMO. They should have made the draw more attractive for and made a better costume. If you have both Clouds arcanum, this outfit is useless. This is the thing that will cause a gacha to die. They need to go back to less limited banners and IMO start offering better shop deals. The NY deals had decent value (at full cost) because it was an Aerith/Tifa combo which is rare. Offering better discounts will help attract those on the fence to spend (whales gonna whale regardless) and the borderline customers should be the target.

It is to soon to judge the NY 2025 draw, we dont know their future plans...if that draw is here to stay for the entire year and u get these NY medals with every finished panel in the future then u will eventually get more than the required 30. I personally would not even spend the 30 on the NY draw, i would safe them for when they add something I really want in that shop.

F2P will see the cloud outfit as a 120 dollar costume for sure no arguments. But I was buying Tifa and Aerith wp’s anyways so it was just a nice little bonus. But yeah very disheartening to f2p cloud mains to see this. And you know this will be a 400pt armory bonus costume in gb every month 😂

my last 2 banners on this game has been a nightmare every pull I do gives me 1 stamp even when I do them back to back its BS. I swear the stamp rates are super bad I know my luck is bad this this is crazy. Im super broke for crystals right now. Even my pulls have been trash. I swear its like they changed something. They also need to do better at giving us crystals cause I swear they not giving us stuff. Maybe my luck is just that dang bad IDK

Hi everyone! I've decided to come back after stopping just around the time after Sephiroth joined, I really loved the game and was on top of everything but a mixture of things lead it to dropping off and after missing so much I ended up dropping it. Well I've decided to come back, got a lot of characters since and super suprised to see a young Angeal but as I logged in I was literally bombarded with notifcation upon notification updated mechanics and more. It was very overwhelming and I'd like to keep playing but is it too late? I heard the story is getting good with what they are deciding to add to the lore of VII but I have next to no summon gems and feel I'd be so far behind in character builds that I wouldn't get far. for the Cloud outfit, it made me think of Ronin Warriors and hate that there is not a skin for the Murasame to match the outfit..... i dont feel too bad getting it since I skipped most limited banners

I think one of his daughters had a traumatic experience. I don't know exactly how, but it was something about a severed finger, or almost a severed finger. As far as I know, the physical problem has been fixed, but the trauma is still there.

I have a lot of respect for the take Octo. It’d be really easy for you, as a content creator, to be disingenuously positive about the game to potentially reap certain incentives. You bringing up the Cloud New Year costume, and the excessive grinding during the holidays felt so vindicating to hear.

I'd be more tempted to buy that costume if people didn't see my characters costume skin in co-op and instantly assume I'm not set up correctly and ditch the party

People that leave based on skins, these people have no skill and not the right set-up for difficult co-op anyway, u dont want to be stuck with them and waste ur time. Skilled people watch the ability set-up of chars and decide based on that if it is worth staying, u can see if abilities are at OB6 or not for example.

Octo helps remind me why I quit this game. Same old boring evergrind stuff again and again, weird banner choices, limited weapons every corner, but at the same time unnecessary cuz you can clear most of the content being f2p with low to mid setups making every new banner they release feel pointless to some extent. Remember when this was supposed to be a “new way” of experiencing ff7 story? Well guess what, it ended up being just another boring ass gacha that abuses from FOMO making us prisoners of it.

Huh I am f2p and get pretty much every limited weapon to OB6 that I want no problem. You only need a couple to be able to clear most content. I have high hopes as time goes on and new features are implemented it will become better

All of these great looking costumes and weapon abilities but nothing to use it on. They have been really slow to give us more enemy variety. Farming a reskinned scorpion sentinel is so boring and lazy. There’s a variety of enemies weak to various elements. Mixing it up makes the game feel fresh We need to refresh crisis dungeon or give us EX difficulty. Bring back brutal towers!

It’s not a great thing, sure, but it’s not 120 for the costume… it’s a free costume for buying what most dolphins/whale/etc are already buying. We can’t expect everything will be available for us, even if it’s a game changer thing sadly. That’s the topping p2w players need to keep paying and let us all keep playing, after all this is a gacha and needs to make money…
