I just came across your channel. You strike me as someone who can do anything that you put your mind to. I've struggled with ED for 40 years now and still have not been able to completely recover. You are amazing, Simon. Stay strong.

I found and watched a lot of your old videos when looking for male eating disorder stories to relate to. Helped in me wanting to recover. Glad to see you're still around and dedicated. ❤

Simon, I'm so proud of you.🤗 I can't bring myself to eat that much without being majorly triggered and "compensating"..😭😭.. so good for you!🥰 And it's so nice to see you enjoying America! I've been here all my life and have never been to the places you've visited.😱😱 Social anxiety will do that to you.😔💔 I hope you're doing well. Listening to your videos as I work from home.❤️

It’s great to see you back and that you’re moving forward with your life and goals! Your pup looks amazing! This video was deeply uncomfortable to watch - I can’t imagine eating anywhere close to that amount of food, especially without compensating later. Good on you for challenging the eating disorder! I’ve been struggling with anorexia for 11.5 years now, and have been in a state of quasi-recovery with occasional relapses for about half of that time. After several years on psych meds, I’m nowhere close to underweight anymore, but the thoughts and behaviors are still a struggle. I found out last year that my previous eating disorder therapist (she was a former anorexic) had started a weight loss coaching business on the side. Suddenly it made sense why I’d never gotten further in my work with her. I always thought it was my fault when we got stuck, but maybe it was because she had some unresolved issues of her own. I found a new therapist a few months ago during a relapse and have been making better progress. She’s pushing me to eat my full meal plan every day for a month to recalibrate physical hunger/fullness cues. If I can’t do it at home, she wants me to consider PHP. Tomorrow will be day 16, and it’s been brutally hard to follow the meal plan for so many days without having a “break” to let myself restrict for a day.

thanks mate - certainly been a crazy journey but it is moving in the right direction. my pup is an old boy haha - nearly 14! it was a good experience to prove i could eat that much and not compensate. thanks for the support. ideas are welcomed for future videos. thanks for sharing your story. keep it up and let me know if you need any help!
