I find it interesting that Creative Control doesn’t play at the end of the movie, but acts as the proper introduction to Mr. Puzzles telling him of his past, motives, etc. Puzzle Park however, serves as the final act of the entire arc, containing a lot more action than storytelling, and Puzzles throwing all his bullshit at our trio. This really shows how passionate the smg4 team was with writing Mr. Puzzles! But I can’t decide my favorite of the two AAAAH

While I love Creative Control to bits, Puzzle Park definitely knocks it out of the park for me! It gives off A Million Gruesome Ways To Die from Billie Bust Up! vibes, and I absolutely love it. It’s such a jump from the first songs as well. Creative Control, while he wasn’t obviously completely sane, he still retained most of his sanity. Puzzle Park just shows how much he’s fully lost his mind, now wanting the crew dead and gone. Really implies how badly he’s deteriorated since the PuzzleVision ARC. Small thing, but I like how ‘loud’ and ‘busy’ Puzzle Park sounds. It really makes you feel like you’re in the theme park itself.

Between Creative Control and Puzzle Park (yes ik in the video it says puzzle park reprise but the one that’s not a reprise is the credits so that’s the reprise), I’d say Creative Control was better in my opinion. I’m not saying Puzzle Park was terrible, I just felt like there was more to be desired from that song. It’s just my opinion, but I’d just say that it feels a little underwhelming compared to masterpieces like Roll the Die (Wotfi 2023’s rap), Zero (Wotfi 2021’s rap) and Objection (Wotfi 2022’s rap).
