Is Saiko next in line for a character arc/development? Because we've hardly seen eye or ear of her for the longest time,and when we have seen her she's mostly cooped up in her apartment playing her guitar,eating KFC,or fighting bad guys. This episode felt like it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger,no way the SMG4 crew would drop this tidbit of lore on us and not expand(dong) upon it later down the line!

Anyone else feel like this is gonna be a Saiko/Boopkins Arc? I know that Saiko had some development back when she was introduced, but it was more of a transition from recurring enemy to main cast member then an actual story arc. Boopkins has had bits of information over time but nothing major. This is just my guess, but I think the next arc is going to focus on both of them, with the game character as a possible antagonist. With WOTFI month coming up soon, it'd be a possibility.

Meggy is out-of-character in this episode. Up until Luigi gets her to clean up Saiko's house, she's notably lazier than normal here, even considering sleeping a sport, something you'd expect more from Melony.

And to add to that, she is being aggressive towards Mario. When Saiko yeets Mario to her and makes a mess, she blames Mario and asks Saiko(The one who made the mess) to help beat up Mario. And later on, when she sees Saiko choking Mario, she decided to help strangle him. If this was Toad doing it, I wouldn't have a problem since Toad is suppose to hate Mario. But this is one of Marios closest friends, and to see him get beat up by her is sad to watch.

This was an awesome introduction to Kaizo in the SMG4 series as being part of the game that Saiko was in was one of the theories I had on how he was going to be introduced in SMG4 along with being the thing that Saiko was keeping secret in her room. But awesome job SMG4! I hope that we see Kaizo get a physical model for the SMG4 series as it would be awesome to see Saiko get some more character development if he comes out of the game.

Barely remembering that scene, deciding to visit the channel again after the lawsuit arc and seeing her alongside Mario and the gang was quite confusing! Glad something finally jogged my memory.
