I just had a realization. Axol just got his Inkweaver repaired, & now he's possessed by Zero. This means that Zero now has access to the Inkweaver & it's powers. However, because it was broken for so long, all the ink inside of it from before has dried up, meaning that it's no longer at full power. Zero would probably want to create an army with the Inkweaver, so it would be in his best interest to get it up to max power. But since the ink is gone, he would have to get some. But the only place where someone can get that much of the stuff is...in Inkopolis, which...means that... *Oh.* *Oh no.*

If that’s the case, then SMG0 is gonna create an army to fight back against SMG4’s gang (unless he’s corrupting them into not helping SMG4 and Mario so they’re on they’re own). Though, I think 0 has plans for SMG3 as well, because he was the reason SMG3 was at the mushroom kingdom in the first place, since it’s revealed that SMG3 was meant to go to the internet graveyard. It’s as if he knew that SMG3 would go to villainy. So maybe he plans on not only corrupting Axol, but also SMG3 as well to serve as a pawn for his plan.

Smg4 I realized that at 4:50 it shows Mario’s hat in a box and then smg4 and smg3s re design hats in the other and 1 and 2 on hats . So it was going to happen at one point that that arc and also the re designs were going to come eventually same with the fact in the video where Mario sees smg3 and smg4s old models and it grabs smg3 and that was in the it’s going to be perfect movie so you really did plan on re designs . What kinda astonishes me about this episode's existence is that this was made BEFORE Kane Pixels' Backrooms video was made. Like, I know the Backrooms existed long before Kane's video, but it was already like a couple years old by the time this SMG4 episode was made and wasn't exactly super popular or anything, as far as I'm aware it was pretty niche at this point, and wasn't a popular widespread thing until Kane's video caused it to blow up. Usually when SMG4 makes an episode like this around some internet thing, it's in response to said thing being popular or blowing up at the time, like the Friday Night Funkin' video or Squid Game or whatever, so you'd expect that this episode would have been made shortly after Kane's video, since Kane's video is what caused the Backrooms to blow up, even if the concept was a few years old. But no, this predates Kane's video, meaning SMG4 just decided to make an episode around a random old-ish creepypasta that wasn't even super popular or blowing up at the time as far as I'm aware, and he just happened to make it not too long before a video would come around that would cause the Backrooms to blow up. I just find this neat and unusual; basically, SMG4 made a Backrooms episode a little BEFORE it was cool, and I think that's neat. This episode was actually MY introduction to the Backrooms, and if it weren't for this I probably wouldn't have watched or gotten into Kane's work when that came out, so uh...thanks SMG4? XD

Theory: Smg0's end goal is to recreate his old universe by overriding Mario's. 1. We saw in the 10 year anniversary that when he captured Mario, he wasn't trying to kill him like Spudnick. Perhaps he's trying to convert Mario into his old Avatar evidenced by the way Mario's arm changed. (All Smg's and their avatar look alike) Maybe he killed Spudnick by sapping his lifeforce, giving him the energy he needs to override Mario's code. 2. Axol has fixed his inkweaver and is now possesed my 0. Maybe he's using Axol to recreate all of his old characters from his universe. Perhaps he will suceed at first. He turns Mario into his old avatar and takes over the mushroom kingdom, but the whole thing is unstable. And Smg4 and the gang will have to undo 0's damage and set everything back to normal before their universe collapses. Maybe Melony will come in and recode the universe back to it's original state. It could end with 0 accepting that he really is dead and his home is never coming back. So he passes on. Okay that part was a bit too sad. This is just my theory though.

I remembered watching this last year, and I thought we were gonna get 2 Axol's (one of them being SMG0 of course) and when trying to figure out who the real Axol is, SMG4 brings up the fanfic between him and Melony. SMG0 would turn into a major simp and declare his love for her while the real Axol would get flustered, knowing full well Axol wouldn't admit such a thing out loud. Then we would have Axol vs Ax0l where Axol nearly gives up his life but the SMGs would turn him into a human or something idk...

Well, since all the remaining guardians are trapped in SMG3’s pod, there’s no one left outside to open it, and SMG0 isn’t gonna let anyone that’s inside open the door, so even if SMG4’s friends were to arrive a few minutes later, there’d be nothing they can do to stop SMG0. Mario… this show… this universe. 🙁 It will all end soon. And no one can stop it. Unless, ofc, Mario stabs himself and respawns outside the pod before SMG0’s hand grabs him and inflicts permadeath. 👿 But then, that won’t work if SMG0 set the spawnpoint inside SMG3’s pod…

So why (in this context) did he say “our hats” even though this happened a year prior to the redesigns.
