I feel like Mario changes from acting intelligent to acting stupid depending on the mood and situation. I mean in reality SMG4 makes him stupid for the memes and intelligent for the serious episodes and all that. But I think character wise, Mario is bottom line smart, but he just likes to act stupid a lot because he thinks it’s funny and he doesn’t care what people think of him. He’s basically Peter from Family Guy. Typically acts stupid because of all the jokes, gags, and for general entertainment for us, but then he can take a more serious tone and acts normal/smart when he wants to or when the situation needs him to be. And honestly comparing Mario to Peter Griffin feels right, and sounds like what SMG4 designed Mario to be like.

6:00 I can recognize that flashing uber effect anywhere. These guys use sfm for complex animation. I think that's pretty damn cool considering how much of a hellscape of a program that is. especially with imported models rather than already existing models. Mad respect to you guys.
