There are a couple exceptions, though. I haven't quite found a pattern yet, but I feel as if one will reveal itself soon.

Niles has 3 fingers that axol has & now is being friendly to melony as Axol is. He has a different appearance from axol & being a mentor to melony to teach her to control her powers that’s from the fierce deity mask with a Huge 2 handed sword from majora’s mask that’s used for boss battles.

This video right here shows why SMG4 is great and deserves more recognition. It’s most of the time exaggerated than what you see on the thumbnail. Secondly, there’re not afraid to connect the plot with what’s happening right now and can at almost any moment start an arc. Next, the humor is random and awesome. Lastly, SMG4 is bound to lift anyone’s day. :)

This seemingly generic episode took an epic turn with the fight against some bears, including the host for the ongoing Winter Olympics (any fan of memes should know this reference). We see Melony tap into her Diety power once more, and we learn the identity of the mysterious bully. Niles may be a pain in the ass, but he might just be the mentor Melony needs to not only control her power, but to master it. It's the very reason she went to that crazy academy in the first place.

I really like Niles. I got his whole deal rather fast, trying to provoke and test Melony, and I can see him growing into the cast very nicely. Although I'll always miss Axol, I can see how him still being around would've hurt Melony's potential and possible growth and he wouldn't fit nicely into this arc either.
