Mario and Meggy attacks him, but Wario throws them off, and Mario and Meggy hold on and close their eyes when they fall(No, this isn't me trying to ship them. And no, I'm not saying I hate the ship either. I am neutral on the ship). Wario then goes to fight Steve, as we get the battle of legends, instead of that overused Mario and Meggy fight.
