The fact that Mr. Puzzles manage to appear inside SMG4's head (and that there's 2 Marios (1 outside (with his own set of emotions) and the other being the funny emotion inside of 4's head), it's makes me think that, technically speaking isn't a puzzlevision episode, at least it is in-universe, afterall, since this is based on Inside Out, there was an area in there named: Dream Productions, where people make dreams as Movies. So in a way, rather than filming it outside, it is the Mr. Puzzles of the Dream Productions, which (somehow) got to make a deal with IRL Mr. Puzzles so they can film this episode at hand. (Meaning that it is DP Puzzles' episode, not IRL Puzzles). (This could also make reference to the new Inside Out Disney + series: Dream Productions too.)

I haven't seen the movie so, I can't really give a good critique on that. What I can say is that it's an interesting take of how SMG4 has the emotions to work on a video. SMG4 thinking that 8.2 million subscribers isn't enough and doing the guitar apology were quite funny. Overall, this video does an alright job of being a parody. The ending of the video has made me finally worried about Mr. Puzzles somehow having control over SMG4 content in his channel. There is the SMG4 that I used to know, but became uncertain after a drought of Mario elements besides Remastered videos. I'm glad that SMG4's still doing parodies of movies and other contents besides Mario series for sure, but the lack of Mario elements have made me missed that part of the SMG4 I used to know. Mr. Puzzles sure has the unusual amount of crew people working as part of the SMG4 Show...I'm sure that individual people are funny in their own ways, enjoying their own successes, but it's possible that there's too many cooks in the kitchen? Change Mr. Puzzles to Glitch Productions, cooks to executives and editors, and kitchen to editing room.

The beginning of the Mario segment of the video add a Xenoblade Chronicles song called "Memories". It's meant to be a sad song emphasizing the loss of Fiora when she dies at the beginning of the game. It's meant to make sure the player can connect with the protagonist shulk as his best friend, and the one he had feelings for was lost in an attack by the Mechon. It's a truly sad scene and it almost brought me to tears while I was playing the game for the first time.

With WOTFI 2024 around the corner, I've had this theory stirring around in my head all afternoon that this episode might've been a bad dream Meggy had sometime after "A Night At SMG4's". Think about it. Ever since the last couple of episodes within the mini arc, Meggy has been on Mr. Puzzles' head for quite a while. While "Western Spaghetti" and the episodes leading up to that film were the first times Meggy played a major role in the PuzzleVision saga, I feel like it was after the events of "Despicable Mr. Puzzles" where Puzzles himself starts taking advantage of Meggy more, especially knowing that Meggy had a helping hand in getting her friends out of his plans to take over the show and whatnot and this Inside Out parody is no exception as Meggy is shown to be the main focus here with the addition of being the first to help SMG4 make the right decisions. The moment she gets knocked outta' headquarters, however, all hell breaks loose with an additional increase in conflict surrounding what the rest of the crew thinks Four should do moving forward. In other words, Puzzles basically sees Meggy as a key of some kind to getting what he always wanted for years, hence why he doesn't dislike Meggy as much as the rest of the SMG4 crew that outsmarted him in the past and why he made her work for his amusement park these days, all the while turning her back to her Leggy form, the version of Meggy that made Puzzles view her in a different light. In a way, this episodes ending basically foreshadows Mr. Puzzles having Meggy work for her by force again. Sincerest apologies if some of the writing is poorly worded, but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say regardless :P
