Well japanese planes are by far the easiest planes to fly in WT. I can fuck up everything in a dogfight and still come out on top whenever I play Japan. Takes almost no skill whatsoever. But yeah, they aren't invincible though...

@@rgates159 Actually kind of is. More lift=less speed needed for optimal flight and handling(for the most part). That's part of the reason most early planes were bi or tri winged.

@@reecetaylor2626 more lift means more drag, more drag means slower speeds which means you need more power to increase the speed of the plane, so if you have a low speed plane the last thing you wanna do is add more lift to it

They don't even have to hit the plane. Make them inaccurate, just let them fire at their historical 1km out not this .21km bs fully upgraded. Enough to deter a fighter and if he stays on your 6 slowly get more accurate. That or refund all my crew points from gunners

I was playing my IL 2M 1943 earlier to kill 80 ground targets for my task and I could barely get a single pass done before getting swarmed by like 3+ fighters . A lot of the time they would head on me and I’d get a kill or two, but dang can they just leave me alone? 😂

Also, sometimes, he'll MOST OF THE TIMES it's your own fault....I used to think like the way you do and blame them for my mistakes...most of the time YOU put yourself in those situations!!! Next time you get clapped by 2 or 3 enemies or get killed by an enemy you didn't see watch the replay of him and you and you'll notice about 1-4 minutes before you got killed YOU actually put yourself into the position to be killed!!!! After I stopped thinking like that and watched my play I realized realized I was doing wrong and now it dont matter what the allies do I separate enemies so I don't 1v3 them....most of the time it's YOU tho and you made a mistake wayyyy before you got killed that gave the enemy the upper hand....most of it is also situational awareness....don't be afraid to turn around lol don't go into a 1v2 on their terms make them chase you mosy of the time when an enemy gets on your 6 they get nervous they want the kill they start making mistakes and start rushing shots and thats when you can make your reversal....defensively flying is most deff the best offense!!!!

to be fair, that plane is at the br it is at because it doesn't have guns, it is about twice as agile as anything you were playing against so anyone with half a brain could use it to dodge the daylight out of the enemy. that being said, staying alive for 9 minutes with such a large amount of enemies on you is quite impressive. gj,

It being maneuverable doesnt justify the br to me... Ki-21 can outmaneuver everything, and is at 1.7, has more gunners, more bombs and maneuverability than B6N. If this plane had a single 20mm in the front or at least a 12.7, I could take the 2.3. But in that state, it's not worth more than 1.7 to me.

I dont think there's a way to teach defensive flying really. First you need to feel comfortable using ailerons, elevator, rudder, throttle and flaps all at once. And then it's all about feeling the situation. At this point I dont analize if my enemy is fast or slow or has a better position. I just do things. It's all about practice

You should bind keys for gunner and external cams, it may help switch between them faster. Way back then I set both to R and it would toggle between the two, until Gaijin did something that it no longer works ;_;.

just had one of these situations flying out the vk107 for the first time. whole team died to fch in the first 5min, myself left 1v4 vs an LF mkIX, a J7W, an N1K and an F2G. just kept doing these ones, got the f2g, drove off the N1k, baited the LF into aaa .... and the J7W just went to groundpound while i reloaded. Lost to tickets...because apparently this is just a pve game

You can fire the gun while control plane on wasd. just toggle your control mode into "simple" on gunsight mode.
