Im glad these old games are making a comeback, so many games came out back in the mid 2010's... that were super good but nobody played them, so now when there is 0 good games coming out in the past 3 years... people are returning to the old ones, im pretty sure i remember seeing this game on a channel from my country in like 2013 or 2014... like they were doing san andreas videos when this game came out, and now 11 years later its finally getting the attention that it deserved as a derpy indy game, same happened with that retail store simulator or whatever that youtubers playing recently... that game is new - but the creators had made a game like 10 years ago called ''Need For Drink'' i noticed because the crouch animation is the same, and NFD never blew up... nobody big ever played it, and now 10 years later youtubers are playing it.... i like this new trend - instead of waiting for game developers to release new good games (wont happen any time soon), we go back and play old games that are forgotten or never blew up and are like 1000x times better than anything that is releasing nowadays (steam is legit a anime & scary game playground, the most basic ripoff games ever... everyone ripping each other off and making even worse games)

If Bennet Foddy made a hockey game this would be it. Completely unintuitive controls both for movement and stick control. You find yourself constantly fighting your instincts because moving the mouse in a straight line does NOT move the stick in a straight line, holding your stick out to the side has drastically reduced reach so its impossible to pick up loose pucks unless they're 6 inches from you or directly in front of you, and you have zero control over whether your stick is on the ice or not causing loads of missed passes and fanned-on shots. When the easiest way to score in your game is to skate it into the net that should tell you something's wrong. It's actually easier playing hockey in real life. I'm just glad this was free otherwise I'd want my money back. The only way I'd play this again is if it was ported to vr giving you ACTUAL control of your stick and better field of view.
