That's actually a HEAT-FS shell. the APFSDS shell would be a dart, and it wouldn't explode like that. That being said, the dev is insane for including that in the game. Especially that discarding sabot part. This could be game of the year as Smii7y said

Yeah so to those who didn't know/remember, I'm pretty sure that this idea was born from a video that went fairly viral a couple of months ago, where a police officer with some sort of PTSD heard a squirrel drop an acorn, upon which he apparently thought that the person detained by him (which might've or might've not been cuffed) got their hands on a gun from inside the police car and started shooting at him, therefore the police officer did a Dark Souls barrel roll and proceeded to unload a mag into the car. He might've been fired afterwards.

While that gave it more life, I'm pretty sure this game (at least development of it) well predates that event. And if I recall correctly, he was able to voluntarily resign and faced no consequences whatsoever, besides possibly off-the-books being encouraged to resign.
