Nate at FoxFab here! (Yes I'm the real one, apologies I should have maintained consistency in commenting from the same account...) I don't think anyone will ever complain about an episode being too long!!! I vote next time we tie a heat exchanger into the coolant system so you can have a built in coffee maker, and maybe add 20ft hoses so you can run the heater to the inside of your tent lol!

@Adventurenot Thanks dude. While in theory it could be possible for me to manipulate the edit to make me look nice when I'm actually a complete bum hole, I know that all of my videos just tell the story exactly as it happens, so it means a lot to me to hear you say that. And it's a very common thing for people that meet me to say that I'm exactly how I am in there videos, so that tells me I'm doing the right thing 🙂

@BIGWIGGLE223
@BIGWIGGLE223 2 ай бұрын
Yeah.... No on the plow. The last thing the Willy's would enjoy is more plowing. - It needs a solid shafted flaming penis to penetrate the snow and move it to the sides. - Rocket stove. - Heated gloves. - A proper winter tent. - Some way to capture all that exhaust heat to keep you warm. - Maybe go with mini tracks on the rear and skis on the front. Check out Grind Hard Plumbing Co.'s tracked Power Wheels builds for reference. - A colab with Grind Hard Plumbing Co. is now required. If anyone could help you prepare the Willy's for success it's Ethan. 100%! Some cold weather advise; when doing extreme weather treks that can ultimately become life threatening you need hot meals. A hot meal when freezing like that can literally save your life. You can rig something up to cook meals on your exhaust while you're driving and have a hot meal ready to go as soon as you stop to camp. Keeping your morale up in those conditions is imperative to success. A fire that's big enough to thaw you out and dry your frozen clothes is a requirement. On state land that doesn't allow fires? Just turn the camera off. Besides, I don't think there's much risk of a forest fire in a winter storm.

The fabrication shop is incredible - what he can achieve is so cool. I felt cold watching the 2nd half. Think you should consider some sort of a tarp to keep the snow off your Willy overnight.

I would recommend lowering your tracks as you mentioned in the video but measure the frontal profile of the driveshaft and frame to reduce surface area that will catch snow. I would also recommend a temperature sharing system for your brake fluid, transmission fluid (if you can), and engine oil. Both hydralic and lubricating fluids become thicker at lower temperatures, so heat transfer will help keep the fluids at operational temperatures, and will likely reduce wear. Comment for algorithm placation.

I was thinking, I hope Ed brought snowshoes with him and that he doesnt kill himself. But he has stayed in colder conditions and the fact that this went down in the 23/24 winter and that he is still uploading is pretty solid proof that he is still alive. ;)

The misery you put yourself through to make these videos is incredible. These are actual deadly situations but you still manage to keep a good sense of humor through it all. We love you Ed March!

could you post the long versions of the video because i for one love every detail of the trip it is really interesting to survive through all of this to drive through harsh conditions and for the freezing problem would it be possible to install a mini solar panel and have it be able to charge a heating pad to melt the ice on the buttons and/or use as a heating seat for you to warm up and would it be possible to put a roof on the mini jeep where you can fold it down behind you and fold it up with a light weight tarp and moveable joints to have it above you but your videos are amazing good luck and have a amazing year :)

If anyone else, and I mean literally ANYone else than Mr. March, had said that the next project would be more ludicrous than the ongoing Willy-mobile-tank-adventure I would’ve laughed in his face. Great adventure mate. I was equally entertained and scared out of mind on your behalf, which was a really odd feeling watching, honestly. Loved it! ❤

actually very long videos are how one hacks the YT algo. people put them on when going to sleep or they come up next when someone is leaving YT playing in the background or at night. this ramps up your views hours, engagement, possible ads like crazy.

Am trying to imagine being a fly on the wall in your brain, but that thought scares me so I'll stop ... hurry up, and finish editing your next video, this cliff hanger is annoying ... haha! All the very best, you're fantastic entertainment! PS: Kudos to both Nate and Beaker - you guys are legends!!!

Thank you. I bought an old boat for next to nothing and the entire hole was rotted out and had three cracks in the block. So I parted out everything I could and slapped together this mailbox with the old engine. I've had a lot of comments about it over the past few years. I've been thinking about giving it a paint job.😁👍
