A snow thrower would probably work better than a plough but more moving parts to break. Another thing to take from that snow thrower could be the canopy.
@BIGWIGGLE2232 ай бұрын
Yeah.... No on the plow. The last thing the Willy's would enjoy is more plowing. - It needs a solid shafted flaming penis to penetrate the snow and move it to the sides. - Rocket stove. - Heated gloves. - A proper winter tent. - Some way to capture all that exhaust heat to keep you warm. - Maybe go with mini tracks on the rear and skis on the front. Check out Grind Hard Plumbing Co.'s tracked Power Wheels builds for reference. - A colab with Grind Hard Plumbing Co. is now required. If anyone could help you prepare the Willy's for success it's Ethan. 100%! Some cold weather advise; when doing extreme weather treks that can ultimately become life threatening you need hot meals. A hot meal when freezing like that can literally save your life. You can rig something up to cook meals on your exhaust while you're driving and have a hot meal ready to go as soon as you stop to camp. Keeping your morale up in those conditions is imperative to success. A fire that's big enough to thaw you out and dry your frozen clothes is a requirement. On state land that doesn't allow fires? Just turn the camera off. Besides, I don't think there's much risk of a forest fire in a winter storm.

I would recommend lowering your tracks as you mentioned in the video but measure the frontal profile of the driveshaft and frame to reduce surface area that will catch snow. I would also recommend a temperature sharing system for your brake fluid, transmission fluid (if you can), and engine oil. Both hydralic and lubricating fluids become thicker at lower temperatures, so heat transfer will help keep the fluids at operational temperatures, and will likely reduce wear. Comment for algorithm placation.

This is such an underrated channel, the engineering involved in making the jeep a tank is unbelievable...let alone the actual journey, just amazing mate! Hats off to you!

This is truly the Mini Jeep of Theseus. I hope it ends this trip with a big block V8.

Ed, you're absolutely bonkers, hilarious, relentless and utterly insane! But, I COMPLETELY love your ridiculous antics and wild commentary. Am trying to imagine being a fly on the wall in your brain, but that thought scares me so I'll stop ... hurry up, and finish editing your next video, this cliff hanger is annoying ... haha! All the very best, you're fantastic entertainment! PS: Kudos to both Nate and Beaker - you guys are legends!!!

16:12 THAT IS THE COOLEST MAILBOX I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. I bought an old boat for next to nothing and the entire hole was rotted out and had three cracks in the block. So I parted out everything I could and slapped together this mailbox with the old engine. I've had a lot of comments about it over the past few years. I've been thinking about giving it a paint job.😁👍
