I love the concept of Mimics, it could actually be so good mixed with Phasmophobia's voice recognition. Imagine having someone ingame say "Hey, where are you guys at?" then having the AI record it and use it against the others as bait.

The issue with that is that people would make their mimic voiceline be a dead giveaway, like the game says "say: hey, check this out" and the player would respond "I'm a mimic!"

All jokes aside, the very idea of a mimic is that they can imitate what you look and say, but considering they're innately not human they can only imitate what you had been saying, not necessarily filter the meaning of what you said and use it against you. They're only like a fleshy anthro randomized tape recorder that kills you upon contact.

well actually.. for the current halloween event if you want the mask all you do is grab the 4 pumpkins and just leave in the car lol you dont even have to finish the level to get credit for the pumpkins AND you dont get just one pumpkin per time you do that level, you can get all 4 at once which is nice.

Holy shit the Mimic is actually one of the scariest and most intricate concepts that was ever executed in a game The fact it uses people's in game voice to fool other players in the party, that's some Mandela Catalog type shit that I cannot get enough of And Mattercell did a phenomenal job with the waiting screen!!

Would it be equivalent to exiting the timeline and reinserting the time machine into where it was at the time of choice? Well, you'd have to find a way to find *where* it was again. So would you just rewind time rapidly? There's so many questions and problems to this. I think the most we can do is be able to send information via electromagnetic waves back in time. If we find a way to synthesize biological structures, then you could MAYBE send the information to reproduce a living thing, but that's just insane.
