I'm trying to load and save an array using the save "dat:filename", array[] function, and I can't get it to work. I keep getting type mismatch errors, with or without the brackets, and without the dat I save and load the program file! I'm good and stuck. Can someone please help?

If you head over to the English Smile Basic forum, in the discussions area, there is a discussion on what kinds of USB and USB-C keyboards *(not mice yet.) That are compatible with the Switch and Smile Basic 4. I would super love Nintendo to allow the Pro Controller to accept a USB-C keyboard in it's port. But it is likely impossible without a physical redesign and/or firmware update.

@Rant And honestly I feel that the biggest flaw with Smile BASIC 4 (SB4) is the lack of ease for input of the keyboard. Many people will have a different setups for how they use and perfer it. My switch dock is in my living room, and is too far away from my couch to use a USB Keyboard. Some people don't have to share their system with others and can have a desk and TV setup to program. Others exclusively use SB4 in handheld mode, such as on a Switch Lite, so all they need is a finger (or stylus) to use the in game keyboard. If I were to make a simple text adventure, I doubt many people would play it. Unless they had a physical keyboard. Unlike on the 3DS, there Smile BASIC (SB3) was complete, as the standardized in game keyboard was accessible, simple and easy to use. I understand part of this problem is the Switch system itself. *(and that the SB3 set up was very good, because of the dual screens.) But if I want to use the same keyboard in handheld mode and TV mode I need to buy additional accessories. If Nintendo allowed for Bluetooth keyboards, then only one could work for both. END
