Great trip to memory lane again.👍 I use to record the charts on R1. Playing them following day on stereo at work. I seem to remember local BBC stations simulcasting the show as well. I remember WM did round about this time.

This is so great to hear! I remember this all so clearly. I was 11 years old but music (and Radio One's top 40) seemed to be such a bit part of everybody's lives. That and 'Top of the Pops'...

On Police Officer you can really see and hear the lack of (horrible) compression the way the bass kick pushes the level into the red on the rest of the tune stays low-ish.
