You're spot on with the Norm Macdonald comparison. I think these guys were big fans. He loved "shaggy dog" stories, and really taking his time telling the simplest jokes you've ever heard. R.I.P. to him. I loved this episode.

If I remember right this episode was an April Fools day joke in which they heavily advertisted the episode prior to it coming out about how the episode was about them all going to Brazil and having wacky crazy adventures in Brazil. Also the phone call they had with Mr Boss was unscripted they just randomly phoned Mr Bosses voice actor up in character one day as a joke and recorded it and thankfuly he decided to play along

This might just be my favorite episode of the season! It plays things so hilariously straight and the way they talk and interrupt each other is so perfect and true-to-life that I can’t help but laugh my ass off! Mr Boss sounding completely normal was one of the funniest bits! If I recall they actually just out of the blue called the voice actor and he took it in stride and improvised the scene with them!

This episode was actually pretty divisive among fans. Funny enough it was kind of hyped by Adult Swim which lead to people predicting that it would be a pretty mundane episode. Also my favorite Norm MacDonald bit is his "12 Minute Joke" about the missing lady.

Easily top 3 episode for me. The joke is there’s no joke, pim screwed up and now they have to fix it. I think I heard somewhere too that they actually just called up the VA for Mr.boss for the bit.

thanks for the great reaction curtis. this is definetly my favourite episode and it's kind of hated by a lot of people. to me it is the strangest episode so far because it is totally mundane compared to all the other ones plus this was the season one finale. it takes a lot of guts or stupidity to put out a finale episode that is a giant audiance trolling and just hope to get a second season lol

the advertising for this episode made it even funnier, they hyped it up as this big vacation special and then it's just. four guys having a bad time at the airport 😂 funny fact about the phone call with the boss, they actually told his voice actor ahead of time they'd call him but not when or what it would be about. that's why he sounds genuinely caught off guard haha
