Thanks Paul. I"m an old 73 year old cowboy from Texas from the 60's. Time has passed, but the memories won't go away. Oh how I miss the memories.

The cowboy legend will never die as long as guys like Paul sing about them, and guys like me pass it on to our kids. I'm a Northern New Mexico cowboy who became a Marine at 18. Ive passed the cowboy way to my boys. I pray they pass it on to their children.

Saw him at the Hard Rock Tulsa, OK this weekend. He puts on a great show, sounds the same in person as he does on the video. We would see him again when he comes back.

Someone is still making actual country music that honors the traditions it came from? Best news I've heard today.

Thank you for this song. Sometimes when i am working the ranch i can still remember my friend Robert. He fought in ww2 and came back to work the cattle and train horses he never let a friend down and was always willing to help with a smile he was out on the pastor from sun up to sun down working. He was a true cowboy never talked much but lived his words. I miss rounding the herds up with you my friend i have learned so much from you and thank you for showing me what you did. You where right my friend people say they want to be a cowboy but then they don't know what a cowboy is. They say cowboys don't cry but i tip my hat to you with tears in my eyes. Miss you cowboy

I want to thank you for acknowledging my father "Lloyd 'Spud' Richardson". He was a phenomenal clown. I was part of his act and came out of the stands to ride our trick pony, Queenie, out of the arena after she had kicked at him about 5 times. He was contracted to do the 7 night rodeo for Frontier Days at Cheyenne, Wyoming on its 50th Anniversary in 1946. His specialty was the bull riding clowning. Some of the cowboys got together and gave him a belt buckle which reads: To Spud the Clown, from Cowboys You Have Saved. I cherish that buckle very much. Regards, Lloyd Richardson, Jr.

We are adding this song in to our playlist at 95Q - Decatur, IL. We aren't a huge rodeo community, but still have some cowboys here too. Great song, man! If you are ever in our neck of the woods, feel free to stop in.

I rarely comment on videos. I have to say recognition of all these cowboys is outstanding. However how you leave out the names like Bill Linderman or Turk, Bill, Alice Greenough is beyond me. I agree with comments on Lane Frost. And why not recognize the other stars midnight, five minutes to midnight, red rock... Maybe and I hope this is the case you are going to do a series of these. Anyway and well deserved tribute to all those in your video. -Ed-
