I think deadlock will eat this thing alive. There is no room for this mechanics anymore, very limited 2d plane, and for that Dota 2 exists already, and if deadlock is implemented properly, those who like 3d third person will def play that and not this. But I'm just speculating let's see what happens

deadlock is really pushing the genre forward. it's very aim heavy (so aim whores will love it), there's a lot of verticality, the movement is smooth af since it isn't just click w. there's a stamina bar that you need to manage since double jumps and dashes eat one bar. there's a combo that lets you dash jump for a speed boost. there's sliding down ramps that gives sped boosts. the game just feels good to play and it's still alpha.

From what I've seen Deadlock is not for me at all. It's too "modern era" like. I enjoy my moba games to be more Fantasy themed.

Smite already has a playerbase no one cares if it isnt the most popular moba.

Bffr, Deadlock looks grey and dead, the models look stiff, and it's just a worse Paragon/Marvel Rivals

@@oOAlexUwUOo you should see what's there and that's gameplay. Only a bad developer spends time to make a pre alpha game look good. So, all the criteria you mentioned are expected, but the gameplay obviously has potential and it's one of those games that if it hits, it hits and takes gaming scenes by Storm. I'm skeptical yet, I don't trust no one anymore after so many disappointed over and over and over...
