I lost to the pheonixes at round 27 as well, it seems to be basically the only round after round 15 that you always will lose at, we just got lucky and got it really far down the line :D Hope they patch it though as I dont see any way of beating it :o

We have gotten very very close, one phoenix with like 10% health yet, but still can't quite take it down.

On hard mode, they respawn at full life after about 10 seconds. So the way to beat them is to get them all down, and then kill them all at the same time. However, this means that they're all SHOOTING the whole time. Past round 15, it's basically impossible, since they'll kill the whole team in about 20 seconds.
