2018 has been an incredible year and with the growth of my channel, I think I lost sight of it's original intent to some degree. Originally my channel was very much focused on in-depth commentary to help players learn and improve at the game. And while even my most casual videos have kept some degree of that, I'm going to be reviving that focused in-depth style through my ranked videos. I'll still have plenty of less serious videos, having fun in casuals, messing around with different gods and different builds. And I'll still try to be informative in those videos just because that's who I am. But for those of you who really want to improve at the game or just like this serious in-depth style of video, I'll be working hard to get my ranked videos back to the quality they had when my channel first started taking off.

I started watching your videos for the commentary and to help improve my game. I stayed watching because of the tone of your videos. I really liked the serious/calm tone of your earlier vids and much preferred them over the high pitch shrieking of other creators (double-j and the like). I'm a bit older now, and I don't need to come home from work and be screamed at by a teenager who sounds like a radio DJ, red-bulling his way through 30 minutes of "Hype gameplay." I fear (and this may just be me) you're leaning the way of "Hype" over substance in the last few months and I hope you return to the more calm, incisive commentary because I believe it was what made you unique. You were the last watchable Smite gamer for me. Feel free to ignore me for the grandad I am being, and enjoy doing what you do. It's just my 2 pennies. Happy New Year Mast.

If you are interested in educating players, maybe do some videos on like correct item choices for different situations (ex. You quickly explained that Obsidian isnt good against low protection builds), counter picks or even good times to pick certain gods, as well as maybe lane strategies and jungle routes for new players or those who have taken breaks from the game. You seem to have a ton of knowledge to share!

Literally my favorite video on this channel so far was the video where he explained auto canceling cause it helped me in game a lot and would love if he did more of those types of videos along side his normal ones cause I love the usual videos too

chris gomez Well what he says usually works, and is logical. I admit it would be very annoying if we can push for Titan and my teammates are sitting in front of the fountain waiting for the enemies to spawn, getting hit by the Titan during the whole time (trust me it has happened).

Hey mast, you r a way better player than me and luv the vids, but I have some tips on the Baka build. I have my fair share of stars on Baka and would like to share my knowledge. Warrior tabi seems superior because capping on attack speed isn’t the best thing, keep the passive up as much as possible (as u mentioned) is vital. I would have gone mantle instead of the void shield, giving u protections for both an a aoe stun that would have prevented any ao kaung ult or possible survivability after fenrir pull. And kin sais instead of achille to make up for last attack speed from ninja tabi and more help shredding that Athena and fenrir. Thanks for reading if you did

I think cone autos act as a projectile which is how the edge can "miss" because they can step out of its range before it gets to them

15:15 ive heard you talk about this so many times. Its not lag. Its called leading your shots. There is a slight delay before your auto goes off and this is more noticeable with hunter autos. You can see the arrow literally fly through the air and disappear at the max range. Baka autos in ult are supposed to be instant but they are actually not.

hey i know this is an older video but what do you think of silverbranch bow on baka. I noticed while im playing him i get past attack speed cap a lot with my passive. I generally run executioner, qin sai, ninja tabi, hastened katana, silverbranch, and depending on comp i may run a defense or just stone cutting. Once i have enough gold to buy speed pot i switch from boots to atlantis bow/ asi/ or witchblade if im having issues with attack speed reliant characters

Yes. Do double uploads. Once a month. Where you upload a video explaining a certain gods combo. EXAMPLE Susano. I cannot combo good with him and there is so many different ways to combo. And i dont know if i go attack speed and crit. Or ability based. One video a month for those vids. Because honestly your videos have been doing amazing because of the content you put in and the fun you have while being in depth. Dont go back to the old you. Sometimes change is better. Take a step back and look at it as a whole. You need to find a middle ground to give an amazing fun video while also being imformative. I hope you read this and if you do. Stay on the grind man. So can someone help me understand somethings about jungle im still learning, if solo is losing, dual is winning, and mid is even wouldn't it be wise to not help solo. Although he is up in level you guys can 2v1 him and he is using his ult. Also Ao Kuang ganked solo early multiple times so i don't know why there isn't any priority on right lane

Dwayne Morris because with how fed the solo was it was too risky for him to try and go help solo while the Ao Kuang was watching over it, it just better to try and help mid and dual get even further ahead than try to fight such a fed solo.

Honestly, I don't think that matchup goes in Cu Cu favor. You can jump the jump, but then you have to take a full brutalize - vice versa. If the jump hits you get the cooldown so Cu has nothing for the next one. I've always won with Fen and almost always lost with Cu.

Fight at front creeps, 1 the full wave. If Fenrir uses his 1 or 3 on you, jump it with your 3 which will also hit the full wave. By doing this you outclear him super hard, avoid a significant amount of damage and pay it back with minion damage.

This is coming from solo lane player. Fenrir is in a good spot as his ult can get cheap kills (no one buys beads in solo). He can surprise you with the damage and his consistent healing.

Aegis shouldnt be in the game in my opinion. i feel as if it is just a "i dont want to die to you outplaying me button". It used to be good for tanking a tower shot during a dive but now its just annoying. I feel as if they should make a certain expensive item like in league that acts like a mantel but for immunity frames there for its not just everyone whos squishy slam picks aegis. I also feel as if there should be a reduction in CC items in general . little off topic but i find the team fights are just turning into CC chains and active mashing messes with little actual skill involved other than positioning and back line diving.

@@PumaPants248 Not in most cases.Aegis is literally a crutch for players now,than what it's really intended to be,and especially when 3 players every single game get aegis and beads,it gets really annoying as a warrior/tank or even any other role to do anything sometimes.I think when most of my games when I come up behind people and the aegis and beads are both popped simultaneously then there must be a problem

Aegis used to be like Zhonya's in LoL, where you were invulnerable BUT you were also immobile for the duration. With Season 3 they changed it so you can move and since then it's been the bane of my existence.

You can argue your argument for the few gods that have abilities like Aegis like Chang'e and Ravana because their kits are balanced around the fact that they have invulnerability. But the problem with Aegis is that it's available to all gods and adds a really unfun element to the game. Honestly, have you ever enjoyed almost getting a kill but they use Aegis last second and get away? Only really good players use Aegis in risky and more interesting ways, others use it as a get-out-of-jail card when they make mistakes or are the ones being outplayed. Aegis is hardly used for outplaying, but I guess that's up for debate between people who call each other narrow-minded.

as much as I love Bakasura I dont think he strong he a classice case of a assassin that relay on item. as most of his shit relay on hits. with a ult that need time to evin get stack so the CD is not all ur waiting on when ever you think about useing it. compared to so many cc the game god got nowadays. an only one abilty that he can use to get away from so it a pain to try an use ti right based on the unknow area of enemy an weather or not thay are working together or are random as that has a lot to do with wather or not ur timeing is very effective. I feel he need a 2ed movement base move. something as he only seem decent in normal 5v5 game an if he jungle other way to play him dont reward you much for ur effort.
