For Geb: Cupid's ult works crazy well. (Simply because of the really long duration of cripple then the stun. For Arachne: One guy pops sprint to get to the other side quickly. Then run around the side to avoid webs while going back. For Manticore: Have one guy just run around and keep it busy. Without damaging it. I like Erlang for this because of the root that doesn't do much damage and the Turtle form to kite him with an extra HP shield. You can even root him then get a couple of hits on the towers before running again.

Something I figured out with the Loki one, at least: he _always_ goes for the lowest-health target. If you're playing Thanatos to try and get his execute off, expect to be stabbed in the butt relatively early.

Duke, I have a friend that is new to the game and I am having trouble teaching him the ins and outs of conquest. Have you ever considered doing a video teaching beginners the basics of conquest? I think a lot of people would find this helpful.

Thanatos is great for all of the rounds dealing with specific targets (like the Loki, Nox, and Arachne boss fights) because he can ult to secure the win at just over 2/3rds of the way through the fights so arachne will lose her bout with him if she ults and has lost 2/3rds of her HP, Nox will get dropped by his 3 or ulti stopping her, and Loki has only one or two chances to grab at thana before he dies. Also than's flat pen is great for dropping the towers in the Lion round, his 1's heal lets him take out most of the tough enemies.

Duke, not sure if they'll patch it but on the Arachne round, me and my friends were able to hug the wall to the left side of the map from where you spawn (not sure if right side is the same, probably), the spider webs won't break if you literally grind against the wall and that avoids spawning spiders because you don't actually break the webs. That way the only spiders spawned are from the pulled target.

Yeah, that works, but in the end, you take a lot longer to get to Arachne. Instead, just use the path one of your players has been pulled through, won't spawn any additional spiders either. Or try and have your tank jump her RIGHT away.

Okay thanks, so how does the Bashful Lion work exactly? If you deal damage before the towers does it get stronger or something? Played a few rounds in PTS but didn't really get around understanding exactly how each one worked.

for me i find that anubis zeus make for a grest magical team as the shred from anubis along with the high damage cc immune ult and the stun sets up alot of damage with ease. A good hunter for this is Skadi especially in the Bashful Lion round where she is able to have kaldr tank the Lion for 5 hits and, if possible, even ult to keep the lions agrro while still hitting the tower. Artemis also offers good potebtial as Tusky can tank the Lion for its duration and also offers good aoe cc for other rounds and a criple for the geb round. Apollo is my thrid pick here with his own knock up, Mez high attack speed for the towers as well as the ult though i do feel this is his weakest part for XTM. Nemesis with her ult not only becomes reasonably tanky but also can make certain targets very easy to burst and her passive can weaken down the damage some targets deal due to her 24% power reduction from the passive. Hun Batz offers a different skill in his ult will offer one of the stronger cc for XTM allowing you the breathing room to burst down your opponents. he does suffer a little elsewhere but his mobility does allow him to kite the Lion for a short timeand the crit helps for burst at times if RNG favours you. Guardians like Ares make for a fantastic pick offering CC, the additional 50 protections, knock up immunity, a cripple for the nox and geb round as well as the ability to grab every enemy with his ult including all the mini gebs and the 3 chronos who can all be bursted down easily with your aoe damage in 1 go. Kumbha isnt too bad a pick offering the Mez and Root though his ult can be just as harmful as it is helpful if coordination isnt great. nothing like having Arachne getting Kumbha ulted right as your anubis ults. khepri offers the interesting idea of getting a 2nd change and a couple ticks of his passive can make a little difference but the big help is the silence and damage reduction / protections shred from his 1 and 2. As for builds for mages i find its mostly about getting as much damage as possible unless you are anubis then a spear of the magus seems to help most as the stacks are so easy to apply. Crusher, Titans Bane, Executioner, shortbow and boots 1 isnt a bad pick for physical and sov, heartward, Urchin and then another item makes for good tanky characters as the Urchin stacks are reasonably quick to get depending on how the rounds go. the 3 hardest rounds id say are Rolling Stones due to the possibility that your damage dealers get chain CC'd too hard, Arachnephobia due to there being no way to determine who she pulls and The Bashful Lion again due to trying to make sure that your tanky targets are able to pull the focuse of the Lion.

me and my clan found the dream team for this event: - Odin - Hades - Skadi - Kali - Cupid We made such a pure mess with this team that another face appeared somewhere else in Xing Tian's body. However, until people realise how to play these rounds, you should get a team since communication is really just the key for everything. Even with this team, if we wouldn't be able to coordinate ourselves we would still get wrecked. PS: My condolences to those who chose a full magical or physical power team and ended up against the trio of super minions...
