I quit the game this last time after they nerfed the bow too much and released tto many artifacts at once.. why couldn't they just add new skill tree's to weapons that already exist instead of this balancing crap. also delete healers from pvp.

Hmmm it cost me a long time and resources to get my ring with healing breeze with all the ideal 3 perks to combine it with my shirking heals build. This is why I don't like new world. They do changes that are not just balance ones but radical, because in my case that ring will be absolutely obsolete and useless, not nerfed.

I don't understand the hype about the console release...if it's not cross-platform, that's it for NW on PC.

It is 100% confirmed at this point but they still don't announce it. I think they are trying to release it with season 6 if they can finish it, if not they will announce it as season 7. By the way really enjoyed threesome pvp, this is NW does the best. But sadly they couldn't capitalize on it, they somehow managed to upset every single player community of NW while trying to get casuals back. I really hope they will do this right, no cross server BS just mega servers with shards. There can be fresh servers for console players but they should also encourage them to join existing servers with XP boost etc. And for the love of God add more content and reasons for pvp, like small settlements which give like 20-30% percentage of town's income. They can even use existing forts for it and there would be juicy mass pvp every time they are unlocked..

Healing breeze also does not procc from any VG ability heals, so it seems its nerfed alot more than the tooltip suggest. Its now a dead perk thar they could just remove.

Incredible decision making on the devs part. Game is fundamentally broken, every update destroys more than it brings or fixes. What is the best course of action in this situation? Release it to the wider audience of course!

Massive leak? I don't think so. Massive would be something that people haven't already discovered. Console release has felt like it was guaranteed for many months now. The closer that console gets the less I want to ever return to New World. AGS doesn't have the capability to develop the game on PC only let alone make it cross platform. Add on top of that they'll continue to shift focus to LoTR and it's not hard to be pessimistic about New World. I don't think the brand new dev studio they are trying to setup is enough to offset it either.

It makes sense for the game to be cross play especially with the introduction to shards with servers. That’d be the only way to maintain stable servers with that amount of players, just like how Star Citizen mentioned server meshing (layering)

8:12 That's not true, damage dealers can absolutely use this as well as being lower in average gearscore than your target also increases your damage dealt. So aside from tanks who can downgrade both weapons, any class that uses a main weapon with a less used off-hand can benefit from this. For example, a Firestaff dps can replace their Finisher with a 75gs rapier, keeping all of the utility and mobility and trading off 15% damage against bleeding targets, some magnify and the ability to deal some damage with the rapier for about 13% damage at all times (on their firestaff) on top of the same amount of damage resistance.

Console release hopefully with crossply would be good. But we need major content updates year round not just one at the end of the year. Otherwise dead mmo.

they also showed the x box controller so yes both consoles, only question is crossplay and fresh starts. Hopefully there is no fresh starts but they still do crossplay.
