I agree 100%. Pretty much my favorite goggle, and I've tried them all...I bought based on your review last year I think. I did have to go with the Low Bridge Fit, I felt that the Normal 4D had too much airflow, which blew my mind. I ended up giving the normal 4D to my buddy. The Low Bridge Fit is perfect for my face. Personally I ride the Everyday Green lens also, with the Chromapop Storm Blue Sensor as my low light lens (by the way, that low light lens was a game changer for me out in the Canadian Rockies last season!). Also the extended field of view at the bottom of the goggle is amazing. Because of that, I tend to forget I'm even wearing goggles when I ride with these! Thanks for the videos James!

I think most of the previous versions had sealing issues in general around the nose area. I personally can’t stand getting snow inside the goggles under normal use and too much ventilation going right up the nose bridge is a common issue with mine. Putting your goggles on the top of your helmet is a crime. You make them wet and destroy the foam and elastics, and don’t let anyone ever see you storing them that way

How many versions does exist? 4D Mag, 4D Mag low bridge, 4D Mag S, 4D Mag S low bridge ? Since i changed my helmet, the fit of my 4D mag is not well….

I have a fairly large nose with the 'middle eastern nose' hump. It's probably a bit bigger than your nose. Would you go with the low bridge fit? Just trying to make sure I get it right because since I'm using a warranty promo code its final sale.

Hard to say without knowing what you are using now. If you are used to plush foam like from Oakley and want something similar go Low Bridge. It's more like most goggle foam out there. If you feel like you want less foam in the nose than most goggles out there go regular.

I loved the IO mag xl lenses but had to sell them because the goggle had a gap above my nose, plus the goggle tended to pressure my sinuses weirdly and rode up as I grimaced or moved my facial expression while riding. Do you think the low bridge fit fixes those type of issues?

Me too but not as bad as you. Yes this is much better and i wish all their goggles had this option.

Shouldnt that be a high bridge fit if you need more padding to keep the plastic from hitting your nose?

I don't know but all I know is I like the Low Bridge Fit's extra padding way more. It feels more like most goggles padding from other companies does.

Thanks for this awesome review and explanation. Yeah, I feel like there's something a little weird with these goggles. I think my nose is almost exactly like yours and I'm not a low bridge fit in any other goggle (even other Smiths), but I got these and I feel like it's not sealing that well around the nose. So I just ordered low bridge fit as well. :) Guess I'll just order low bridge fit going forward in every goggle just in case. Extra padding never hurt anyone. :)

@@DynamoKevin I've just bought the I/O XL Mag online and feel like there's too much of a gap around my nose. Did the low bridge fit fix that for you?
