@victoriacobb23704 жыл бұрын
Part of why he's constantly playing with his hands, though, aside from the nerves, which I agree, you can see if you look closely, is that you can kinda tell at certain points, he wants to grip the mic. With the mic stand they're using, though, if he grabs the mic, it'll move, so when he's sitting there opening & closing his hands and tucking them behind his back & all that, I think he's trying to resist the natural urge of a singer to grab the microphone during the more passionate parts of the song. It's hard.

My mom favorite song was 45 she listen to it all the time, two years ago she had an almost successful attempt at suicide, The police said she was fine sitting there drink a beer and laughed, I said she just took a bunch of pills, I said kick the door, The officer said he couldn't, I said my name on the lease you either do or I am, by the time the door was kicked in my mom was unresponsive, they ended up being able to revive her, after out of the hospital I showed her the Live 45 version from Kansas City where shinedown told the story about the song and what it stood for, she was a different person from that moment on, Mom just recently past because of health issues but one of the songs at her funeral was unchained melody had I'd known you guys cover it I would have played it because a little bit more mean. Out of respect to her, however, I listened, fully expecting to give up about 10 seconds in. Not only did I watch until the last millisecond, but was in tears midway through. What a voice! What sensitive accompaniment! What I witnessed was not just great technique, but musicianship. (I know lots of accomplished instrumentalists. Musicians? Not so much.) This was an amazing experience and I'm so grateful to my friend for giving me the opportunity. Incredible.

I have avoided this for months now. There are just some songs that should never be touched. This is one of them. Unchained Melody is Righteous Brothers perfection. I'm now sitting in tears. People who know me, know that I'm pretty anal about music. Some songs nobody will EVER capture the feeling of again. There's no "making it your own". "Hallelujah" - Leonard Cohen. "Imagine" - John Lennon. A few others that aren't coming to mind right now. You've made a liar out of me on this one and Zach's reaction at the end says it all. He knew immediately that you captured magic.
