I just picked up a 17-3 made in 1975. No trigger lock. My first six shots at 20 yards look like three shots because I key-holed 4 bullets.

Yeah it is a beautiful gun. With all the polymer handguns it’s nice to have something with deep blueing and nice wood grips. I love it and will never sell it. Glad you got one for yourself!

I have owned a 17 in my college year very nice handgun. I now own a model 18 4 inch and it shoots as well as the 17 but is a better holster gun

Also have the same one but very old cause it has no trigger lock ,still looks and shoots great. It is my favorite hand gun.

Yeah unfortunately mine has the lawyer lock. They really are a beautiful handgun!
