@@Chepo1500 yes… get you a heavy ar15 carbine spring. It’s would definitely cut your recoil off in 1/2 plus a T3 heavy buffer, your gun basically shoot like a 22lr. No kidding! I still live my m&p15 and m&p10 they’re in fact my favorite black rifle! A good reliable modern sporting rifle that doesn’t break the bank.

Indeed, the most underrated, and one the best built, durable, and accurate AR-15 5.56, at an affordable price for us, working middle-class Americans. "Gucci" rifles are expensive, however, truthfully speaking, most civilians have no need for those kind. Go Smith & Wesson M&P 15!!! 💪🏼😎🇺🇲

I bought the Sport II to pair with my M&P Shield pistol. I figured if their ARs were anywhere near as good as their pistols then I would have an excellent rifle, and I was right.

You definitely fortified it a bit. I’d prefer a government profile barrel but it’s definitely a nice rifle. It was a better deal when it was under $600. I’ve even seen them under $500 at one point. It’s not a bad rifle at all. Great video.

Awesome rifle! One thing though, the bayonet lug in California is no problem. What would be the problem is the pistol grip, vertical forward grip, flash hider, standard cap magazine, and collapsible stock unless it was a fixed mag AR lol.

Carry handle looks awesome, my M&P15 is very similar but with the DD omega 7 quadrail and the moe sl stock

Love mine. It's an mp15 sport2 but doesn't have the big m&p on the mag well. Must be a newer one I guess.

I also saw some at newer that doesn’t have the M&P15 marked on the magwell. It’s just depending on a certain patch of production I think, I got mine for 4 years now.

I bought my m&p 15 May of 2021 its been a work horse....I added the carry handle & and same round hand gards with heat shields...zero malfunctions 🇺🇲🇺🇸 its the glock of ar's...lol

Awesome rifle. That barrel has 5R rifling in it - another reason why it's so accurate.

The sport 1 has a 5r the sport II does not.

@@davop4919 I didn't realize the sport 2 doesn't have 5R rifling. The sport has it. And it's also a slick side with no forward assist. Trade off maybe?

@@SafetySal Can't remember for sure but think the sport I has a 1in8 twist and the II has a 1in9 to stabilize heavier bullets I may have that wrong its been awhile since I was reading about it.

The hand guard was made by Midwest Industry you can get them on MidwayUSA and the carry handle you can get them on Gunbroker, don’t get the Chinese made, they don’t hold zero.
