I’ll grant your correct on the cardboard box but let’s be honest once you buy it… you don’t use that box or kit any longer so it becomes irrelevant. But a plastic case would be nicer to sit and collect dust so i guess i understand. If we are just talking about the gun though, once again it’s too shelf. By the way, there is a full section in the S&W M&P "Safety&Instruction Manual" that came with the M2.0 Performance Center C.O.R.E. pistol. Nobody RTFMs, much, but I'm not an expert, so I read all the gun manuals I get. Anyway, pp. 44-47 of this pistol's manual has detailed instructions on how to mount any of the 7 makes of red dots, and a chart showing which of the mounting plates, #1-7 to use for the brand of red dot, plus which screws they give will fit through your red dot through the plate into the top of the gun. Very detailed, no guessing, all parts and screws included for most major brands. S&W tried, so we should take advantage of this nice benefit. Cheers!

I have a 2.0 Pro Series non- CORE non- ported 5 “- these models come with competition fiber optic irons installed (the assumption is that if you buy a CORE, you’re installing a RD thus the white dot co-witness ) IMO the factory tuned PC trigger job is very fast if you like M&P triggers and better than a standard M&P 2.0 - Re-set feel and the apparent demand for “ tactile audible reset” is fun for slow fire target shooting but mostly irrelevant at competition speed IMO - full speed split times with this pistol are very good - in fact better than some of my strikers with supposedly “better” triggers - I don’t feel the need for an Apex upgrade I had mine direct cut for a RMR which allows for my HS 507C to sit 1/2 further back then the CORE plate set up requires , so no lens fouling My set up requires that you remove the rear sight , so no complete co-witness But , for competition , I just use the front sight post anyway as an index when shooting weak hand at more acute angles , as that’s the only scenario in which I can lose the dot My only real complaint about this pistol is the stiffness of the slide release , as if I’m doing an emergency reload at full speed , I prefer to drop the slide with my strong hand thumb The original M&P would slide drop on a mag slam , as does the CZP10F or my new PDP FS I wish that S&W had retained that feature as it’s IMO an asset in an IDPA match , not as big an issue in USPSA The Pro series is completely reliable , comparably accurate to any other quality striker etc I didn’t mind the cardboard box , unless you’re going to send me case comparable in quality to Pelican or a snuck I’d rather have the useful cleaning kit lol !

@@MDpolo , I think I have the only SD9VE that the actual APEX trigger doesn't fit, went through 3 Apex triggers on Apex guidance and none fit, reinstalled the original factory trigger with the Apex springs and it is much better ...

I’ve never heard of that happening. Thank you very much for sharing.

Those lousy triggers (even the 2.0) keep me from buying an M&P.

I have not tried the trigger the new Shield Plus flat trigger, but this is the last Smith and Wesson hinged trigger that I purchase.

I handled a Shield Plus at my LGS, the trigger was not very good. S&W just cant seem to get it right.

S&W's PC auto offerings haven't really been the same since discontinuing the 952 & 945. As of late, they resemble Lipsey style offerings and a branding gimmick.

6 mins in and I couldn't watch anymore... Before opening your mouth and bad mouthing something.. be smart enough to look in the instruction manual.. page 44-47 tell you everything you need to know on optical mounting
@MDpolo2 жыл бұрын
I did look at the manual before I opened my mouth. Mine must’ve been an early model and those instructions were not included in the manual that came with my pistol.
@Derbyboy132 жыл бұрын
@@MDpolo I doubt yours is a early model.. cause I got mine right after they came out.. now could you have gotten the wrong manual.. maybe.. but I can tell you the information is out there..
@MDpolo2 жыл бұрын
@@Derbyboy13 I know the information is out there because I’ve seen her in other manuals. What I’m sharing with you is that at the time of filming the video, the instruction manual that I received with my pistol did not have that information.
@Derbyboy132 жыл бұрын
@@MDpolo but you also said you looked all over the place and couldn't find any information.. my gun is older than this video so the information was out there.. you just got the wrong manual

Bill. why, I just sold my pdp
@mrgoodkat85673 жыл бұрын
Why? So you can shoot a 9mm that feels like a .40? Walther cant figure out how to spring their guns properly. From the p99 to the ppq and now the pdp. Absolutely ridiculous how snappy their guns are. I keep buying them hoping the next gun will be better. But nope.
@Jacob-t1j2 жыл бұрын
Walther PDP and PPQ make the 9mm feel like .40 when you shoot. Ugly chunky slide also.
