This pistol is AWESOME! I got 1000 rounds (steal, brass and aluminum) through it with zero fails! I haven't even cleaned it yet. It's a work horse! It's has a really smooth slide. Sweet self defense trigger. Amazing accuracy! In NH these guys run for $379. I got mine on sale at Bass pro shop for $349. The thing is worth every penny. For me the stainless steel slide looks really cool. 16 + 1 just in case multiple bad guys show up at the Waffle House..

You sir got that gun at a great price, I paid $379.99 + tax and have no regrets about it, I love it. Living in NY and only being able to have a 10 round magazine limitation my choices were very limited but once this thing was in my hand there was no way it wasn’t coming home with me! I have put 1000 rounds of the (Wal-Mart excusive) Federal Aluminum ammo $19.44 per 100 round box and not a single failure of any kind. I have put a Lasermax laser sight on it along with a Pachmayr grip glove. Almost every video you see uses the term budget with this gun and that’s because it is…but in name only, there is nothing budget about this gun but the price! The original Sigma series with the 11 lbs. trigger is what Glock sued S&W over because of how Glock like it was, then they changed the Sigma to the SD9 VE to get out from under the law suite and not pay the royalties anymore. The Taurus G2 has a much better trigger and the reset is shorter. The trigger on the SD9VE is one of the worst strikers I have ever used. And you have the option of a thumb safety if that's your thing. The price point is about the same, and it's a little more concealable. The Apex trigger is a must for the SD series. I think smith makes it so bad on purpose to help from cannibalizing sales from the M&P series.

For the record we’ve only seen a thousand reviews on this his gun , and everybody’s a damn expert on the Glock lawsuit. Enough already if you lazy bastards would take the time to read the Wikipedia result , you would find that the suit was settled out of court in 1997 . Smith and Wesson agreed to alter the Sigma design and pay Glock an “undisclosed amount” that means nobody knows .
