I am amazed at the shoe hand work that these contractors do. In the first place the sea is right there and yet the road has a drainage problem? The only water that should be affecting that road should be sea surge from hurricane events if any. They need a bigger covered drain and they should run it under the road to the sea. These so called contractors should take the time to do the proper thing. Hiring these contractors is like getting a gardener to construct your house.

SMITH ASPHALT MEANS BUSINESS, LOOKING LIKE WORK JUST GOING TO START. The contractors who had built the road and the drainage had needed more experiences in buildings drainage and the road. If they had done it , properly there wouldnt be any blockage in the drainage. I dont think they should have the Smith Asphalt to solve the problems in the drainage, because it going to be the same. I think the government should let the Chec Engineers do the work because theyre specialize in building roads drainages etc. so this problem wont happens again.

I Love my Jamaican People. However I am sometimes in pain when I see how there is never a FULL PLAN before the work begins. So they DIG UP the road and put up barricades for 6 months or sometimes longer before moving on to the next step. In the US if a contractor does that, he would be out of business.

Its polititions seeking power that allow people to stay were they must not sometimes causes the delay and make good work men look bad not always the workers fault, some of these lands the owners are abroad and some dead. If you listen the video you will hear the old man telling that the wall in the bush is the government own😂😂😂

Can they put a underground pipe across the road as the drainage system ?

There are underground calverts they are planning to sort them out so as to control the water

They should use a plumbing ROD to search where the drain flow is . The rod will also help to clear the path of the pipe feed .
