She is the greatist singer out there. Everything she sings you can’t tell she feels and it makes you feel it too

She constantly blows my mind. First heard her voice/talent in The Last Kingdom and have loved everything since. Stunning

i really like "boxes" from this concert. her live qualities are otherworldly. in "boxes" she is using her higher registers. the more i listen to her the more i get hooked. "tides" is another stunner. have you ever heard of anna von hausswolff? her music is often described as post metal or funeral pop. but in my opinion she is a genre on her own. massive vocal skills for sure and it's difficult to pick a song because her work is so divers. she has some really awesome and very long songs, like "the truth, the fall, the glow" or "ugly and vengeful", but for a first impression i'd reccomend "the mysterious vanishing of electra" music video or "come wander with me" music video. if you fancy a live video: "strangers" live sessions

Her music makes me want to visit the Faroe Islands. She’s not there anymore methinks but man, gotta get me some of that water. Wow.

7:42 i had to bust out laughing when you paused. She just never disappoints, does she? it's almost comical at this point if not so emotionally visceral.

I thought I was tripping the first time I heard her. But you heard the same thing, so it's real.

Thanks for the shout out. Eivør is a very versatile singer. For something completely different you could give her very good 2010 cover of Kate Bush’s ‘Hounds of Love’ a try. This time best to do the official black and white music video, which is very arty with an almost gothy feel. It’s from the same album as ‘Tròdlabùndin’ but very very different in style. For something electronica you could try ‘Into the Mist’ or ‘Í Tokuni’, which are actually the same song with the same music video and music track, but the first is sung in English and the other in Faroese. To return to a style similar to what you’ve been playing recently, ‘Gullspunnin’ is another very popular song with fans. It’s sung in Faroese and this is my favourite live performance kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWLTcn6bic-agqc
