I love doing powder only or mostly powder. Its so easy, weightless, and in the summer, at the end of the day, I dont look cakey and melted; the makeup just fades gracefully. Great for mature skin too actually. The powder doesnt settle into lines as much as liquids and creams.

This works for my mature skin too! I used my L’Oreal collagen moisture filler moisturizer as my primer and the finish was flawless. Finished with a setting spray! Was so pleased!

I appreciate the full powder routine!! I have normal to oily skin but tend to get a little sweaty and powders are the only thing I use. I can’t do liquid foundation or cream products. Because I have to set them with powder it defeats the purpose in my opinion. So powder for me just works and looks better as the day goes on because it melts with my skin but doesn’t smear off or break up.

As crazy as it sounds Lo’real Infallible Freshwear... it’s not for oily skin. But it’s the only thing that doesn’t break apart or look cakey. I set it with Laura Mercier setting powder. No primer, too many layers on my face to slide around if I do wear it. I’m still searching for the perfect combo, still doesn’t last as long as I want without becoming an oil slick after 4 hours, if that. I find thinner formulas work better than thick foundations made for oily skin. I’ve tried so MANY foundations (high end drugstore) and this is the best by far. Sorry for the novel lol. Hope that helps. If anyone has any recommendations for us oily skin people, please let us know. I hope everyone is doing well and stay safe ❤️

I have very oily skin and the best foundation that I’ve found is the Catrice HD liquid coverage. I set it with the too faced peach perfect mattifying loose powder, or sometimes I use the Wet N wild photo focus translucent powder. My foundation is flawless all day, my face barely gets oily or no issues with the foundation separating. I do use a primer, I have two that I use I switch between the two but they both are great...Revolution Pro Hydra matte primer or Hourglass veil mineral primer. I plan on wearing this foundation for my wedding next year, it is that good!

I love this powder I combine it with the cover girl clean fresh foundation which it so light coverage but it like sets up a good base for this powder. This powder is almost as good as Lancôme dual powder but ya it’s 50 bucks, and wow I can’t believe cover girl clean fresh powder is sooo good it looks just as good on my nose as Lancôme now that’s a winner to me. A lot of people keep saying oh it’s light coverage lol!!! The package says full and you use a sponge as you have said. This is definitely my go to cause as much as I love Lancôme they are way over priced. And this powder is talc free! Yay!!!!! Thank you for your video more people need to see this 😁
