(and the hats / fashion doesn't go unnoticed of course! 😉). How about a video on tips for creating a space ike this for the aspiring musician? It must have taken a lot of thought, and surey helps with the whole approach to practice and recording. Have you done videos on your recording equipment and process? or one on your collection of guitars & amps and what has led you to this point? We guitar geeks all love those! Looking forward to more Bluegrass content as well 🤞

Hey, Alex I got most random question ever. Firstly I liked your lesson, it is the first of yours I watched of you, and will check out more of your videos. Secondly what English accent are you speaking? As a secondary English speaker I am just curious (Norwegian). In my understanding you sound like John Cale who is a Welsh-English speaker who lived in America. Is that anywhere close to your accent? I would be so pleased if you asked my most random conundrum. Cheers.

Thanks buddy, I appreciate that and yes, do check out some of my other lessons. I have tons of stuff out there! And to answer your other question; I have a pretty standard “midlands” accent. I’m from Nottingham. People often think it sounds a little more southern because it’s quite a bit more neutral than the more extreme midlands accents. 😎

Glad you enjoyed the tone mate, don’t forget to watch the “tone talk” section near the end of the video! (On top of that I also always put the gear in the video description) 👍🏻

Nice, but you hardly explained how to do. For beginner/intermediate player (and old) it is hard to learn. Thank you anyway, you play so well!

I give more than enough information on how to do it! Remember that I also provide painstakingly detailed tab and notation with all of my lessons. This is how you learn! If I was to describe every single finger movement, the video would be 4 hours long and 90% of my viewers would’ve switched off after 2 minutes! 😆

Alex, what does "the Join this channel" - Get access to membership perks, Friend of Farran $4.99/month get us versus the patreon page? Thx, Dan

@AlexFarranGuitar 3 ай бұрын
Hi Dan, thanks for asking. It’s simply a way to support the channel and the work that goes into it all. People often message me asking how they can make a donation, and the “buy me a coffee” route was always the standard way. But KZbin memberships is intended as an alternative to that. As such, the perks are quite simple, you receive a special icon next to your time when commenting or posting in live chat, and your name features on my channel’s main page as a way of thanks. (I myself am a member on a handful of channels, not to unlock anything, but just to support the work) Cheers mate! 🍻
