If they were brave enough to nerf sub (a balanced character in this game) they definetly should nerf cunts such as smoke, jhonny cage an so on

Is that the move that ends in the grab? I don’t remember the name of it but I use it a lot and I’ve timed it just start inputs for my slide or anti air move on the second to last hit and it’s never failed me yet. Smoke is prolly a mid tier character but I’m having a lot of fun pulling combos with him and Sareena as my Kameo.

@@TokyoSagaThe timing on it isn’t what you’d expect. You likely have to press Back+Block later than you think you do, after he emits the smoke and before the attack starts, when he’s right in front of your opponent. There’s no universal solution unfortunately, since everyone has different reaction speeds so you’ll just have to practice deliberately delaying and deliberately pressing it earlier until you find what works for you.

@@killshotmc hop onto practice and just practice a combo over and over again until you can do it repeatedly. I practiced combos in Training and after a while just fought the CPU to see when the best time to combo is.

It's reassuring to see my combos line I usually used were in line with what other playing him are doing , I used Sonya w him for a minute but ended up switching to janet, losing the projectile from Sonya does hurt but janet air combo extender is just ao much better than Sonya's plus janet could technically use fireballs by going into puppet mode kameo then spanning forward 1 or 2 as that move is a projectile and If u hit the button prompt for it constantly w no gaps she will store your inputs and still do them one by one giving you a constant barrage of fireballs as backup while doing your reg atks. But getting all that to go your way is much less likely then a simple Sonya regular fireball But I like 44 2 into your forward 3 then janet air hit cameo right at the end of the last move then ideally I would go ex smoke port 3 hit air combo but not the one that hits them back into the ground and then again try to finish with a reg smoke port unfortunately this for me was always really hard to hit consistently so instead I would just use EX knife throw anti air instead for the less risky option but still great dmg

Just learn how to cancel cutting floor with smoke port ex and you’ll land 30 percents all day in a match and it could honestly change the fight. Personally I have issues with people defaulting to down block when I’m playing smoke. I need to work on a string with f,3,2

Don't dash. Just do 32, 32, whatever the rest you want. One of the two kicks will miss, but then you can go into F12Grab and you pretty much don't need to time anything. That kick does about 2%, and if the difference is making the combo or not, 2% is a small price to pay to get it almost every time.

U+F Block only works off the back of an uppercut that’s a counter. The BF3 cancel is hard. Everyone has a different reaction time so there’s no universal method to say when you should do inputs but I find that pressing Back+Block when Smoke is right in front of the opponent and visible but hasn’t attacked yet works best. Experiment with the timing by pressing it earlier and later than you think you need to. You’ll get it eventually.

I main smoke and I do this combo on a regular so I’ll try my best to explain it, If u do the F121+3 you want to input DB4 As soon as the last hit sends them flying away, (well at-least I do) . If that doesn’t work I just spam DB4-EX after they are flying.
