I was actually gonna leave a big comment on the full ost and leave it at that, but I wanted to give this song some special attention. This song's a huge tearjerker, and for good reason. I've spent a little while thinking of the *vibe* it gives off and I eventually came to something I think fits great. It's like remembering good times while you're going through something bad to make you feel better. And knowing Nikku's story, that hits really close to home. Every single track in Hotline has a special place in my heart, but this is my favourite, it's such a bittersweet song for such a bittersweet and amazing character. Easily my favourite work of yours, too. Please keep up your awesome music.

We can't let out the Fading motif with Nikku mimicking Garcello's voice. This song is so bittersweet that it's almost melancholic, like that feeling of seeing your friends go away after a sleepover, and Fading comes to intensify these feelings. Gosh i love this song so much- And in my true opinion, the best part of this song is the chorus/duets. It gives a very... Uh, nostalgic, vaporware, chill vibe? Gosh i can't even describe it haha

Smart "chill cleanup/afterparty" song following two of the most hyperactive songs of the mod. And with a vapor/synthwave aesthetic, no less! And those little Garcello vocals peeking through Nikku's makes me wonder if she interacted with Garcello before his death (maybe they found each other in the same alleyway or something?) or was affected by his passing, and she feels these emotions come out of her, being expressed by/through Garcello's voice. A reminder to a good friend who probably helped her hide from government during her time on the run. (I don't know all the lore, I'm just trying to make it up as I go from the songs themselves and the mod content.) It feels almost like Nikku herself is starting to slow down and open up to BF and GF, almost "telling her tales" of Earth through these songs and the people she's met and encountered. It's a feeling of reflection, nostalgia, and silent celebration of this world we live on and the good that remains. :) It's crazy, that without speaking ANY words, Nikku connects with most of us through the music alone and the voices she's mimicked over her course of existence here. She's probably one of the most important and most impactful characters of any mod (along with Garcello), reminding us of where we started and how we've come so far. (Though, Expurgated just makes those feelings MUCH more impactful and evident later on.) Beautiful song, Saruky.

The instrumental and the vibe in general makes this song easily the best one in the mod in my opinion. The first time I heard this, I heard Garcello's voice and almost cried (I never cry while listening to songs). The wave of nostalgia I felt made me remember listening to and playing Smoke 'em Out Struggle,the first mod that introduced me to the game.
