Pit Boss 850. Smoking some ribs tomorrow and going to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Dawg, I owned the PB 700 for a several years and then sold it, it was just too big for the wife and I. Now I own the PB Pit Stop, I LOVE IT! It is portable and I can take in my RV too. I run it with my Jackery Explorer 500 solar generator. I prefer baby back ribs of the St. Louis style ribs. Dry rub on my ribs and I also set a bowl of my favorite BBQ sauce on the side in case someone wants it. I like my ribs that fall off the bone, it just seems more tender for me. Those ribs look very tasty! All you need now is a good potato salad to go with those amazing looking ribs.

I know that is right! I've got one of those Jackery units as well. Great for running a grill on the go.

3,2,1 dry rub Spare ribs for sure. Dream pit boss smoker right now is the Titan. I’m enjoying learning my methods on my Laredo. However I really want something that is a bit more even, and 5 degree temp increases.

We just had your rib recipe/technique and oh man perfect! We’re dry rib people but made the glaze and loved it. For our glaze, we used Arby’s Sauce, ACV and Palo Alto Firefighter hot sauce. Thought it was a bit too vinegar-y, added just a tiny bit of Catalina dressing to balance it out. Thanks so much!!!!

Nice video ...curious as to why when you wrap with foil you don't just use the oven...since smoke can't penetrate the foil isnt that a waste of the pellets?

I’m wondering what’s the best temperature to cook for ribs?
@TheDawgfathasBBQ4 ай бұрын
It's a personal preference. I like to cook at 275F most of the time. Good comfortable temp that doesn't cook too fast or too slow and gives great smokey flavor. You'll have to play around with your temps to find what is best for you. Great question.

Dawg I have been running the Pro Series 850 for 3 yrs and it has been great but I wanted a little more room and just last week got my wish list PB6PSE vertical smoker and did 5 butts for my son's gender reveal and it did not disappoint. Ribs have been my nemesis in the past mostly because of over seasoning with the wrong combination of rubs. Too much salt. I am going to follow your lead on this one and try some baby backs this weekend. Thanks

That is awesome! I hope it works for you.
