Nice one mate. But you're supposed to wet sand the last coat of VHT to get it nice and smooth, and remove the orange peel, then apply 3 coats of clear. Then wet sand the last coat of clear to smooth it out and remove the orange peel, and hit it with the buffer to make is super glossy.

I havent had any issues at all with the paint. I did touch them up about a year after just because I felt like I could go darker but they are good to go as far as paint. Great product

If I finish following the steps, and I decide I want the tail lights to be darker after i polish them, can I just west sand them and go over it with another layer of VHT and clear coat? Or do I need to remove all of it?

You know what I wanted mine darker.. the only thing I did was wipe them down made sure they were clean and went over them like 4 more times with the VHT. It will be fine. Mine look much better now

If you mean to cover it just so you wont get paint on it just use clear tape. Thats what i used the 2nd time around and then just cut the extra off with an xctao (i think i spelled that wrong) you dont have to go all out though just use tape it will be fine!

Yea they look great bro, just a tip/suggestion....when you’re spraying a coat, spray one line then drop down and spray the second line with 50% overlay. Gives more of an even coat
