Thanks Brother. I actually enjoyed eating it, very moist. I always stay away from white meat as it's typically dry. But not this one.

The mistake made here in my view was he removed the breast meat from the mesh bag. You were not shown this, but the breast is wrapped in a mesh bag once out of the plastic outer bag. Leave the mesh bag intact and proceed in that manner. Season as you wish with the meat remaining in the mesh bag. You can easily remove it later with ease. It will hold any separate pieces intact as you cook and it will not remove any seasonings to speak of after the cooking process. I usually trim the ends of the mesh if there is any excess. To each their own but try using the mesh bag.

Thanks for watching and your comments. There wasn't a mesh bag holding anything together with the product I used that day. If there had been, I would have removed it to accommodate the method of cooking I had demonstrated. (i.e. remove skin, seasoning, temperature control for odd-sized pieces,etc) Good idea you provided for those who wish to keep it simple.

I agree but what about the skin
@lifewiththevillamors4099Ай бұрын
@tomyunker3368 what ever you want to do with it, it's up to you. You can smoke it with the skin on, but getting it crispy would take a bit of high heat to do that and could over cook the breast. When I do normal turkey, I leave the skin on and make sure the skin is crispy

Ok so took a minute and 20 seconds to know not to buy a butterball turkey breast who wants a bunch of pieces that will all take different times to smoke disappointing turkey breast to start a video

I agree with you on this. It was a surprise to open it up and see one full breast and the other side in pieces. I was quite disappointed as well, and I won't be buying Butterball breast's again either. Thanks for watching.

That’s why the comment about “mesh bag” was important. I’d call it twine netting. It’s called a turkey breast roast, not a boneless turkey breast. It’s intended to be cooked without separating the pieces and leave net on to keep the roast intact.

Why on earth remove the skin? This looks terrible.
@lifewiththevillamors4099Ай бұрын
@knarfster Thanks for watching. You can simply leave it on if you wish. There are many different methods of cooking protein, and removing the skin was one method I chose to do for this video. I wish you all the best for Thanksgiving and have a great Holiday season.
