I can't imagine the dust and damage if the drought continues. I've drilled all over that part of the country, great hard working hardy people live there. They have to be tough to survive and they have to rely on each other as well. Cattle numbers are really low these days and the herds will suffer more than they have already from death and injury. Poor animals. Where to go?

why does media pull so many clips from past days and oerwhelm the scene we are looking at. Why can't you just stay in the moment of the day! Each day has enough problems in itself. The after math on day 3 is enough. Don't add clips to the one day from the past! Its not reality!

@@inthekitchen8842 : 🐛🐜 Bugs are still animals, and probably not tasty like an orange or carrot. Animal agriculture is *cruel to animals, unhealthy to people, wasteful of natural resources, destructive to the environment.* Haven't you noticed 8/10 people we see on the news are now morbidly obese? Kids too. As for shoes, KEEN shoes and sandals are very well made, comfy, and last for at least a decade under heavy wear. You don't have to be a raging vegan but certainly reduce animal consumption to once/twice a week instead of everyday at every meal would certainly help with all of the above. 🙏

So, what started the Texas fires, lightning, spontanious combustion, a bick
@catherinesmith7918 ай бұрын
I don't know what started it, but the wind always blows in Texas and its extremely dry this time of year and there aren't many trees, so it's basically scrub brush and low-lying bush. When you have dry windy conditions, it doesn't take much of anything to spark a fire and wind will spread it fast. There are a lot of large cattle ranches and feed lots that house cattle until they can be taken to the slaughter-house in the area. I miss living in the panhandle, it's beautiful country with wide open spaces and canyons. It makes me sad to see it burning. Lots of great memories

It looks like a desert now that it's burnt, before it was open grassland's that's why it's cattle country. Any area that see's fire this hot look's like a wasteland afterwards, burnt chare smell is overpowering for week's or even month's after; then when it rain's again new life come's rushing back to the land it's amazing to see. I've lived through forest fire's close to my own home, have seen it happen many time's.
