Looking good, fellas! Hey when I was working on big pipe and needed an oversized wrap around, I'd go to the nearest hardware store and buy a roll of roof flashing. It's strong, doesn't stretch, and gives you a very precise match on the edges, and i could use it over and over. Looking forward to seeing your build! 🙋

I have a half of a 250 gallon for my firebox on a 1000 gallon is that to small? Is that a 500 your cutting?

How do you get your hands on some old tanks? I haven't found a place to sell them.

Really depends on where you’re at but BLT Tanks in Oklahoma is a great bet. Also become buddies with local service techs at propane companies

Agreed - look up propane companies - I know one less than an hour from here that has what looks like 20 or 30 old decommissioned tanks sitting out on the back 40 when I need more... I'll be hitting them up.
