Both are very good singers. Most people like Chris Normans voice better, because he was first singer and his voice stood for smokie and is a little more warm-hearted, but Alan Barton was great too.

I disagree, I like Chris Norman bu I prefer Alan Barton as a singer by far. And I am not sure what you mean pop line, Alan Barton had a much more rocking voice than Chris Norman had imo. I just think Alan Barton sung with much more passion and emotions than CN did.

This song is so great. I like Smokie with Chris Norman better, because I'm not that into the pop line that Alan Barton followed and like CN's rock line better. But this song is so great that it's actually one of the best Smokie songs ever.
