Love your dad’s pipe. Elegant and lightweight is a winner! I have several vintage thin walled lightweight pipes that I can smoke all day without worrying about a burnout. I love tapered bowls. The ones I have smoke well and they’d allow you to go thinner at the top of the bowl while having thicker walls at the bottom. For me a 19mm tapered bowl is perfect. Would love to see you make a tribute pipe inspired by that one. Papa’s Pipes! No way I’m letting that silver band tarnish. My monkey brain like shiny 😂

Chris herriot still makes pipes like your fathers. Very small and always 18mm bowl size. Super light. He can even make them filter and lose no shape. I would love to see a colab with you guys at some point your styles are so different it woild be interesting. There should be a new group of 4 horseman pipe makers 😊
