Smiling! Been using your videos to learn. Lost my wife of 55 years in June of 24, trying to learn to cook like she did, and she could cook. Her nick name was Cookie, and she lived up to it. About 4 times a year she would put on a full Thanksgiving meal and invite all who would come. Our table could hold 10 people, and it was always full on them days. I not a bad cook but got some learning to do. Got tired of missing out of them meals and going to start cooking them myself. Big Smile!

To me cooking is an activity that for me has always been therapeutic. From large family gatherings or to a meal just for me. I lost my dad a year ago, and he so enjoyed my cooking. I'm a 56yr old only child and my parents were married for 57yrs it gives me such joy to be able to cook for her because she like daddy loves my cooking. We miss him so much but when we're together for meals we enjoy our food and we share our memories of Dad. The love and the laughter around the table is priceless. My family and I thank AB for his awesome recipes, they not only satiate our appetites, they also soothes our hearts. AB keep those recipes coming.❤❤❤

I use hashbrowns instead of slicing whole potatoes. I add bacon too. I make this every winter.🥶 But I might start adding peas 🫛 this version looks good.

ok, going through the recipe, if you buy the froze pea and carrots together, you will probably use the whole bag. also to level it up use 1/2 and 1/2 instead of milk. remember to grate your own cheese. i found a hand crank cheese grater is safer than a box grater.

That looks super tasty and hearty! Maybe throw a little sausage of your favorite type in there to kick it up a bit. Italian, andouille, chorizo... any would be good and tasty in there. A little bit of diced jalapeno, not too much. Mix in some green onion with the peas and corn or just some on top.

I would use minced garlic. I am not a corn fan so maybe use broccoli crowns chopped small and carrots. I also would use diced bacon with the hamburger. Also instead of unhealthy mushroom soup which is loaded with salt I would make a mushroom roux and cream. I am very excited about your Christmas recipes. ❤

Someone stated that they would add browned mushrooms, but I would also add some chopped broccoli since my family is not big on peas and corn. I would also add some chopped green onions on top for additional flavor and color. I will deflinatley be trying this recipe this week. Thank you and can't wait for the next one.
