SMOKY MOUNTAIN Roadside Attractions & SCENIC National Park TOUR - GOATS ON THE ROOF to GATLINBURG

On this episode of Roadside Attractions we begin at Goats on the Roof at the Georgia / North Carolina Border. We make our way to the Smoky Mountains thru Cherokee to the Smoky Mountain National Park for some beautiful scenery and waterfalls. Then to Gatlinburg for a walk, some Pizza, and Earthquake The Ride!!

LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! I Love the Smokies . One of my favorite places to visit. Haven't been there for a few years but love it. This is exciting. I watch Yankees in The South a lot. Omg...you have the best personality to do this ..Waterfalls!! Lol. We get 15 mil visitors a year .. A lot from FL and in the winter, they hope to see snow and normally it's warmer here than it is back home in Miami..haha. All the time ..I feel bad for them 😜🏞️🌲🌄

I may have to attend a conference in Gatlinburg this summer so thank you for a preview of things to do. I have some friends who will also be down there in June, so I'll definitely pass this on! I do have to laugh at the way we say "roof" in the Midwest! I was always told a "ruf" is what a dog does, a "roof" is what's over your head! Sometimes I still slip and will say "ruf."

I had to pause the video to go listen to some Ronnie Milsap, but it’s all good I love that song. The smoky mountains are one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited, although it’s been about 10 years for me as well. I love that whole area and went to the Blue Ridge Parkway on a recent trip as well. I’ll have to check out Cherokee between your video and Some others that I recently watched it looks like they’ve got some interesting stuff there. Anyways safe travels and I hope you and Cris had a great time.

That's why I'd be afraid to go on the Zip line. I'd afraid it would stop half way across until someone comes and gets me off. I'd just be hanging there much like the bear 🐻. I can see where the Smokey Mountains ⛰ gets it's name. You should check out the Adirondack Mountains ⛰ in NYS.

We love this so much. Great Smoky Mountains are our favorite spot to travel and actually siting on top of Chimney Tops is Joe's favorite spot in the world. We have not been there in way to long, last time was four years ago filming for our channel. Glad you did Gatlinburg right, that is our favorite slice of pizza in town and you can never go wrong with some Earthquake the Ride!

My wife and I live in Ohio and visit the gatlinburg/pigeon forge area usually at least once a year. Sometimes just a day or two on our road trip to florida and sometimes we go for a week. Soooo much stuff to do there. We spend all day in the forest hiking looking at all kinds of different waterfalls and wild life. If you like waterfalls there are a lot to be scene. Then we usually hit some touristy shops in the evenings. We love it there. Hope you both get to visit there again with more time. Safe travels on your road trip.

The Appalachian trail starts at Springer Mountain in Gilmer county GA near Ellijay GA for North bound hikers. So happy you enjoyed the Smokies! It’s what made us move from Miami, Fl to Knoxville!
