It’s so awesome that you had such a close relationship with your grandma. As someone who was also incredibly close with a grandmother, who passed away in 2017, I can wholeheartedly empathize and appreciate your story. Grandmas truly are the best. (Moms aren’t half bad either, ha.) I also genuinely hope the Rays stay in St. Pete or Tampa, even though I am a diehard New York fan. I love baseball, and have family in Bradenton so I’ll always have a soft spot for the Rays… despite the fact you guys are so freaking good typically and always over performing and overcoming a limited budget - frankly, it’s remarkably impressive and certainly commands much respect (even if too many fail to offer it). Thanks for your video and let’s hope for some good baseball in Florida going forward for a very long time. (Forgot to mention that I was at The Trop for Matt Garza’s no-hitter in 2010 vs. the Tigers I think it was, so The Trop will always be a special place to me too.)

Hey jay it looks like the st Pete city council approved 23 million for a new roof on Tropicana field for 2026 season I don’t think it covers interior but at least your team is not going anywhere we have trouble supporting a AAA team we had the zephyrs for a while and they changed the name to the baby cakes people hated that name stopped supporting the team and moved now we have rugby team and I have never been to a game

As a NY Mets fan living in Tampa I would enjoy going to the Trop a couple of times to see teams I normally wouldn't see or just to catch a game even though the Trop was an awful stadium still nice to be near by a MLB stadium hope they don't move out of State
