Dauntless Evaporator with Hybrid Pan

The Dauntless is awesome. We're running 50 taps +/- with flat pan & no blower. In our 5th season & definitley hitting well above 12GPH. 14.5 the highest so far w/ good dry wood (pine). You won't be disappointed with this or any other smoky lake product. Quality stuff.

The Dauntless is a brilliantly designed evaporator! It covers a super wide range of experience levels from entry level backyard setups to guys like me who need to nerd out at a very reasonable price. Mine is set up with the previous high efficiency pan set, float box w/sight glass and force draft. For a baby evaporator it absolutely rocks!

I have checked out CDL because there local to me, and there small units are junk compared to yours. They have no prices and won’t tell you evaporation rate you guys build some great stuff, I’ll be ordering this unit soon .

Hello! So it sounds like you have a 2x4 hybrid that you want to use with a 2x4 gas-fired finisher arch, correct? Yes, you are right that these two products are not compatible with each other. We would need to redesign one or the other in order to optimize the exhaust flow... We always want to set you up for best efficiency! Is the float box for a divided flat dauntless pan compatible to the hybrid pan if one were to upgrade?

Hello! The float boxes for the Dauntless Divided Pans require a different hanger system compared to the Dauntless Hybrid Pans. They operate in the same way. It's just the connection that is a bit different between the two. Very good question! Thanks for reaching out. We are happy to help.

While the size of my operation doesn't justify the cost of a hybrid system, I'm looking forward to getting my 2x4 divided pan I just ordered😊 Love the vids you guys put out....that...your reviews...and free shipping were the deciding factors in my purchase👍

Im thinking about buying the dauntless. Should be a big upgrade from my 4'x4' stainless pan on cinder blocks. Looking forward to mid-February as well.
