Rus, this is my kind of recipe because the chili was EASY, yet obviously off-the-hook delicious! I was looking up the Frog Bone and the Cajohn's products and they look like they are exploding with flavor and spice! (The disk-it link didn't open however). I love this recipe! Thanks a million for sharing it with us all my friend!

+Juanelo1946 Thanks for telling me about the Disc It link John. Not only did I not put a period where I was suppose to, but I miss spelled it. Working now :) All great products John, and man that chili was excellent! I already have the salsa stocked up, but I'm gonna make sure I keep the Caboom on hand as well. Excellent flavor!

Chili is a little soupy for me but I like how you guys remedied that by adding the condiments. Bottom line is chili is not to be made quickly. If you want really good chili you have to take the time to make it low and slow. Additionally the meat has to be seasoned early regardless of what season you use. Don't get me wrong, this Frog Bone Chili looks and probably taste GREAT! But simmering flavors together is a sure way to make the most flavor able chili. Good Job Guys! !
@SmokyRibsBBQ9 жыл бұрын
+Vance Smith This is Keith's recipe, not mine. My chili recipes are much different, and do take awhile to finish off. This was more of a quick version for chili, with a Frog Bone twist with a bit different flavor profile that Keith come up with for parties, game day, etc. Thanks for watching :)

i want that grill lol. good recipe but I would still use the holy trinity, I need that texture. did the frog bone over power the chilli?
@SmokyRibsBBQ9 жыл бұрын
+Cell The Hungry Beast Nice cooker for sure! Yeah, just toss in what ever you want. I like raw onions on top of a bowl of cooked chili even though I didn't do it here. Not over powering at all. I was really surprised how well it worked out, but it does make sense with everything already in the salsa that you would normally put in a chili. Quick fast alternative for a homemade chili

So I tried it today. Purchased all the recommended ingredients and the result even using 80/20 chuck. I give it about a 7.5. with that said, it is fast to put together and no labor at all. The salsa was great I think it was the Cajohns that I really did not care for. I have tasted better pre-mixers before that were much better. So I guess I will go back to my old way and make it from scratch. Just me

She was born in Illinois, and moved to Alice as a child with her parents lol
