when you're using your ult in 1v1 and opp is pretty in auto attack range, rotate your ult 180° : mom will reach your opp faster and that will bamboozle them, they'll almost always get hit center

It's an extremely powerful rune against champions like riven or renekton who only really trade 2-3 times a minute against other melee matchups but against a ranged champ it makes trading almost impossible because unless they make the same mistake 2 times in a minute you never get to trade while bone plating is down and you shouldn't even bother trying because at level 1 on average it gives 15% more hit points scaling down to somewhere between 4-8% at level 18 for champions who don't build any hp (much more variance because health growth makes base level 18 health fluctuate more)

Second wind as a ranged champion against for example Warwick top would probably be the most non impactful rune in the game where as bone plating could genuinely change the entire lane outcome.
