I think there's definitely a possibility Ron Wells was inspired by someone like Larry Heard or Marshall Jefferson's mid '80s Virgo guise with this production. What ever happens, however raw this sounds, it's top, creative, unrestricted quality.

@@RonWellsJS Not meaning to come across as an arse licker or pretentious. But it's certainly up there and I believe it rivals that stuff. You'd be hard pressed to tell which country it came from back then. I like the blend of ever so slight melancholy coupled with light heartedness. Early Deep house but with the sound of technology. Larry Heard, early Marshall Jefferson etc are sure winners to take inspiration from. P.S. Picked up the latest old Wax Factory reissues, really good. Also, the recent 'Under The Light' under the Jack Smooth guise download is really good. I'd also buy it if it was released on vinyl.
