This looks VERY cool but it's not working for me at all. I wish I could see what you have inside the sound effector and how that's set up. I am just getting a straight mospline bouncing up and down and the sound effector isn't deforming it into the shape of the sound wave at all.

In the sound effektor - Set sampling to Step - and surround the whole sound file (Probe) with the square.

when I drop the spline and instanced spline into the loft it removes the smoothing and goes back to a linear look.. cannot figure out why

nevermind figured it out. you have to set the subdivision settings in the loft object to something over 100 (for my scene) cheers
